PAWS Harvest Festival

Description

Fall Harvest Festival is Back!
October 29, 2022 | 5:00-6:30pm

On Saturday 10/29, PAWS will host a walk-thru Harvest Festival at Woodburn’s playground area. Families are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy a seasonal decoration display with fellow Woodburn classmates. PAWS will be distributing some small toys and candy, and we'd appreciate donations of shelf-stable and canned food items for the CSD Family Resource Center.  Here are some ways you can help make this night special:

  • Last year we had over 100 families bring jack-o-lanterns (and some even shared their fall inflatables) that we used as part of our display. We’re excited to do this again this year--even more so because you’ll be able to walk through and look at the amazing artistry up close! Click here for details--the more jack-o-lanterns we receive, the more fun the night will be (and you can pick them up at the end of the night)!
  • New this year, we'd like to display milk jug luminaries along with our jack-o-lanterns! Sample here
  • RETURNING AGAIN THIS YEAR--we will invite 10 families to each decorate their car and participate in a “trunk-or-treat” in Woodburn’s bus turn around area. Details here!
  • Would you like donate candy or prizes for the Trunk-or-Treat? Sign up here!
  • If you can volunteer the day of the event, we need help setting up and handing out candy and prizes during the event!
  • To help with parking and traffic flow, we are encouraging families to walk or carpool to Woodburn.

***A parent or designated adult must accompany children at this event.
